ABSTRACT

Optogenetic is a neurostimulation technique which recently becomes common. Optogenetic tools have numerous advantages over conventional neurostimulation techniques in terms of ability of selective neuron stimulation, multifocal and multimodal stimulation, and inhibition. This method which provides valuable contribution for explanation of pathophysiological mechanisms, and treatment of disorders, acquired a wide utilization area in basic medical sciences as well as clinical sciences.
